Why it’s important: Passing accuracy is a critical aspect of soccer that significantly influences a team's ability to retain possession, break the press, and create scoring opportunities. The Pass Skeleton drill measures a prospect’s ability to pass accurately and make decisions under pressure. Correct decision making minimizes turnovers and prevents giving possession away to the opposing team. Prospects who can deliver precise passes force defenders to adjust their positions, opening up gaps and opportunities for teammates to exploit.
